Why can’t I just be placed with my daughter!?
Let’s say your daughter ends up in a unit where of the 12 girls (who have requested each other as friends therefore they are in the same unit), we have 6 generous adults who volunteer to work at Twilight Camp.  This unit only needs 2 adults to maintain girl/adult safety ratios.  The other 4 wonderful adults can help 24 other girls attend camp if we place them in other units. We will try and place the 4 adults in units in the same rotation group. This means all 3 units will be together all day, at every station. The 3 units can have dinner together. They can sit together at opening and closing ceremonies, etc…

As your daughter gets older, consider requesting to be placed in a different unit from her. It’s a great opportunity for your daughter to start developing her independence in a safe, supportive environment.
